Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day production and assembly activities for Laser Marking Machines, Laser Cutting Machines, and other automation equipment. The role ensures that production schedules are met while maintaining quality, safety, productivity, and efficient utilization of manpower and materials. The Production Supervisor coordinates with Design, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Service teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and timely completion of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Supervision

Supervise daily production and assembly activities.
Ensure work orders are completed as per the production schedule.
Allocate manpower and assign daily production tasks.
Monitor production progress and resolve shop-floor issues.

Machine Assembly & Manufacturing

Supervise the assembly of Laser Marking Machines, Laser Cutting Machines, and automation equipment.
Ensure assembly is carried out as per engineering drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions.
Monitor electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, pneumatic integration, and system testing activities.
Verify machine readiness before quality inspection and dispatch

Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of PPE.
Conduct regular housekeeping inspections.

Production Planning Support

Coordinate with the Production Manager to execute daily and weekly production plans.
Prioritize production activities based on delivery commitments.

Quality Control

Ensure production activities comply with company quality standards.
Conduct in-process inspections during assembly.
Coordinate with the Quality team for final inspection and testing.

Material Coordination

Coordinate with the Stores department for timely material availability.
Verify materials before issuing them to production.

Team Management

Supervise technicians, assemblers, electricians, fitters, and machine operators.
Provide on-the-job guidance and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Identify and develop new customers in manufacturing sectors such as automotive, electronics, fabrication, aerospace, medical devices, and tooling.
Promote and sell laser cutting, marking, and welding machines to OEMs, SMEs, and industrial clients.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for machines, accessories, and services.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.

Technical & Commercial Support

Work closely with the application and service teams to propose optimal laser solutions.
Prepare quotations, techno-commercial proposals, and negotiate pricing and terms.
Assist customers through the sales cycle from inquiry to order closure.
Support customers during installation handover and initial commissioning phase.

Customer Engagement
